1. Agreement
By creating an account or using QuizLens AI ("QuizLens", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service. QuizLens is an AI-powered study platform designed primarily for university and college students.
2. What QuizLens provides
QuizLens helps you study by offering features such as:
- Smart Notes — upload lecture materials (PDF, DOCX, images, or text) and receive AI-generated sections and quizzes
- Study Buddy — an AI tutor that answers questions about your uploaded notes
- Flashcards — AI-generated cards with spaced repetition
- Exam Planner — personalised study schedules based on your exam date and weak topics
- Battle Quiz — multiplayer quiz rooms with friends or classmates
- Report Humanizer — rewriting assistance for academic reports (you remain responsible for academic integrity)

3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use QuizLens. If you are under 18, you should use the service with permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when signing up.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use QuizLens to cheat on exams, violate honour codes, or misrepresent AI-generated work as solely your own where your institution forbids it
- Upload unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service
- Share your account or resell access without permission
- Use the service for any purpose unrelated to personal educational study
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant QuizLens a limited licence to process, store, and display that content solely to provide the service (including sending relevant portions to AI providers for generation). You confirm you have the right to upload the materials you submit.
5. AI-generated content
QuizLens uses artificial intelligence to generate quizzes, explanations, schedules, and other outputs. AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. QuizLens is a study aid, not a substitute for your lecturers, textbooks, or official course materials. Always verify important facts before exams or submissions. We do not guarantee any particular grade or exam result.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Pro subscriptions are billed through Paystack in Ghana Cedis (GHS) unless otherwise stated. Prices and billing periods are shown at checkout. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. If your subscription lapses, your account may revert to Free tier limits.
7. Intellectual property
QuizLens, its branding, software, and design are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or redistribute the platform except as allowed by these Terms. User-generated content remains yours subject to the licence in Section 4.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
QuizLens is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or academic outcomes arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or GHS 50 if you use the Free tier.
9. Termination
You may stop using QuizLens at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use harms the service or other users. Upon termination, provisions that should survive (including liability limits) will remain in effect.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notice where appropriate.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes should first be raised with us at abaainvestments@gmail.com. We will try to resolve concerns in good faith before any formal proceedings.
